A lot of restaurant websites are crap.

A Tumblr blog has started listing some of the cliches of bad web design that seems to plague many restaurant websites, but in a hilariously sarcastic, passive-aggressive way. Some of my personal favourites:

“I’m sure at least one person has watched this website intro.”

“I really do enjoy having to find that cool scroll-bar you built into your Flash website. I find the wheel on my mouse way too confusing, so a Flash scroll bar that doesn’t work with the mouse wheel is a breath of fresh air.”

“I hope the phone number and address are actually images so I can’t copy and paste them!”

It’s funny because it’s true.
